Carl Gustav Jung 💭

💜Carl Gustav Jung was born on July 26, 1875 in Switzerland, and grew up in a very educated and extended family. He was a very studious psychologist and psychiatrist, and also a disciple of Freud, being very close to becoming his successor, however, they began to have many intellectual differences which ended their professional and also friendly relationship.

In this way, I can say that Jung had many psychoanalytic influences (in addition to influences from the humanist current) that we will see reflected in his theory created in 1913 named analytical psychology, which however unlike Freudian theory, will characterize for have an optimistic view of person, which can know himself completely along his life, taking an active role in overcoming his problems and fears. Further, gives great importance to the  role of human history and human culture in his studies.

For these reasons and maaaany others I think that Jung proposed a really revolutionary theory, which I admire and represents a vision about the psychology that I really like, in fact, although I know he sounds a little crazy, I have a picture of him in my room hahaha.💜
